The Basics
What: Twin Bayou District Camporee at Camp Strake
Where: Camp Strake, located at 2020 Camp Strake Rd, Coldspring, TX 77331
Facilities: Each campsite has picnic tables, and a covered pavilion with electricity. Shower houses are located along the main campsite road and are shared by three or four campsites. Individual stalls are ADA compliant and have a toilet, shower, and sink.
When: February 27 - March 1, 2026
Scouts are responsible for their own transportation. Carpooling encouraged.
Load-out is on Wed Feb 26 at 7:00pm at the warehouse, 5936 S Loop E Fwy, Houston, TX 77033.
You MUST check-in with the Campmaster when arriving and leaving camp.
Fees:
$45 for both Scouts and Adults
No scout is ever turned away due to an inability to pay. Inquiries regarding financial aid can be made to W.C. Smith (scoutmaster@troop54houston.org), or Shirley Hou (tcc@troop54houston.org).
