Thank you for honoring the memory of Chester Ball, the father of Richard Ball, Troop 54 Assistant Scoutmaster. Chester was deeply committed to Scouting. To celebrate his legacy, the family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to Troop 54 at The Church of St. John the Divine.

Chester was the loving father of Troop 54 Assistant Scoutmaster Richard Ball and grandfather to Troop 54 Scouts Katherine and Helen, and William..
As a former Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 744 in Dallas, Texas (Circle Ten Council), Chester trekked to Philmont Scout Ranch in 1997 alongside his son, Richard. One of his proudest moments came this past summer in 2025 when his granddaughter Katherine completed her own Philmont trek, carrying on the family tradition.
