What: Troop 54 Campout at Enchanted Rock State Park
Where: Enchanted Rock State Natural Area (~4 hours from Houston), 16710 Ranch Rd. 965, Fredericksburg, TX 78624

When: April 24-26, 2026
The troop has booked a coach bus with bathroom and plenty of room for personal & patrol gear. The bus holds 56 passengers including room for gear. We encourage all campers (Scouts and adults) to utilize the bus, with the exception of troop gear haulers.
Departure Friday, April 24 from St. John the Divine - River Oaks Blvd. via bus
Assemble at St. John the Divine at 4:30pm
Departure 4:45pm SHARP
Bring a sack dinner to eat on the bus
Return Sunday, April 26 to the troop warehouse (not SJD!) at 5936 S Loop E Fwy, Houston, TX 77033.
Return at approximately 4:00 pm (actual ETA will be announced in the Troop 54 Community WhatsApp group)
The bus will stop for lunch on the drive home. Sunday lunch is included in the registration cost.
Trailer Load Out / Load-In
Load-out is on Wednesday April 22 26 at 7:00pm at the warehouse

Prerequisites
Scouts: None
Adults: must be a registered adult leader with Scouting America on the Troop 54 roster
Cost: $65 for Scouts / $65 for Adults. If no bus - $45 per Scout/Adult. Inquiries regarding financial aid can be made to W.C. Smith (scoutmaster@troop54houston.org) or Shirley Hou (tcc@troop54houston.org).
